TRAVEL TO BLOCK ISLAND

• By air:

• By sea:
  Ferries run from Pt. Judith, RI year round and from New London, CT,
  and Montauk, NY in summer.

• Directions to the Pt. Judith ferry dock:
  On I95 North take Exit 92 in Connecticut. Bear right onto N. Stonington Rd., Rte 2. Look for right hand turn for Rte. 78. At end of Rte. 78 take left onto Rte. 1 N.
  (Look for big sign that says "Block Island Ferry".) Travel on Rte.1 N until the Galilee/Pt. Judith exit, Rte. 108. Bear right onto Rte. 108S (Pt. Judith Road) for approximately 3 miles until a right hand exit for the Block Island Ferry. The ferry is located at the Galilee State Pier on your right. It is a total of 30 miles from I95 to the ferry dock. 
  
  On I95 South take Exit 9 in Rhode Island (Narragansett exit) to Rte.4. Stay on Rte. 4 to Rte. 1. On Rte. 1 look for exit for Narragansett, Rte. 108. Continue on Rte. 108 S for approximately 3 miles until a right hand exit for the Block Island Ferry. The ferry is located at the Galilee State Pier on your right.



• Parking and Ferry Reservations:
  Overnight parking within a short walk of the Block Island Ferry is available for a fee. You may bring your car on the ferry from Pt. Judith if you make a reservation WELL in advance. • Once you reach the island - directions to The Sheffield House:
  When you come off the ferry in Old Harbor, walk to your left. At the end of the street, beyond the statue of Rebecca, are two streets going up hill. Take the one to your right (High Street). The Sheffield House is about half-way up the hill on your right. You will see a big sign.
